Young athletes are especially vulnerable to concussions because their brains still are developing. A team of concussion experts, led by a WUSTL sports medicine specialist, recommends that no athlete be allowed back into competition the day of injury. • Medical Center Farmer’s Market open. The farmer’s market at the Washington University Medical Center is held every Thursday from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. through mid-October.
